SI Albany – The Sleep Out 10/11 August 2017

SI Albany will raise awareness for homelessnessweek2017 by joining the Sleep Out, held in the Albany town square the event supports increasing awareness of homelessness in the region. Join with thousands of others around the country in taking part in events over this week to help make homelessness history. Experience for one night what 1 in 200 Australians experience every night, BYO swag, sleeping bag, blankets and/or tents. Free evening meal for all who sleep out. AYSA will be fund raising via a donations link to purchase Swag Bags for distribution in the region Get on Board!

A number of SI members will be braving the cold but taking their swags, Thermos mugs beanies, gloves, Lumberjack coats and hot water bottle. Would anyone like to join us?

We’ll also be providing hot drinks all night for the people who want to support this worthy cause.
