SI Riverside Mothers Day Pampering – May 2011

For the members of Soroptimist International of Riverside, Mothers Day is an opportunity to give back to mothers at a local nursing home.

On Saturday May 14th a team of ten Soroptimists and one Soroptimist’s little 4 year old granddaughter visited Agmaroy Nursing Home in Wilson to deliver a pampering session to fifteen residents. The Soroptimists gave the ladies manicures and chatted to them in their makeshift ‘salon’ in the home’s dining room.

At the end of the pampering session each lady was given a gift and wished a very happy Mothers Day. The residents enjoyed being pampered and loved their beautiful gifts.

The Soroptimists also immensely enjoyed themselves, with many returning for their fifth year in a row to show their appreciation for mothers everywhere.
