SIWA – ‘A Night in Africa’ fundraiser for Project SIerra

A Night in Africa is the biggest fundraiser for Project SIerra to be held in Western Australia this year.

It is hoped the evening will raise over $10,000 towards Project SIerra: A Family and a Future.

Project SIerra is a partnership between Soroptimist International and Hope and Homes for Children (UK), and is Soroptimist International’s Quadrennial Project for 2007-2011. The project aims to raise one million pounds by 2011, and is so far up to 678,000 pounds. This money funds the work of Help a Needy Child in Sierra Leone (HANCI) who work with teenage mothers, street children and families at risk of breakdown to provide vocational training and family support.

Please join us for a brilliant night of exotic African food, live entertainment from Akwaaba, dancing, and plenty of fun and frivolity for this great cause.
